A Fellow and Senior Examiner of the International Dance Teachers Association and creator of the Contemporary Modern Jazz and Acrobatic Technical Faculty.
Shani commenced her training with her mother Miss Betty Chappelle where she now successfully runs the Penistone branch for over 25 years.
She returned from an extensive performing career to conduct Master classes for vocational students at The Phil Winston’s Theatreworks Blackpool, where she trained and educated thousands of students who have established successful careers in TV, Theatre, West End, Cruise Lines, and Teaching Careers.
Shani herself travels extensively to represent her choreographic and technical expertise conducting Master Classes, Lectures, and Examinations for the IDTA in Spain, Portugal, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, France, Bahrain, China and Africa.
She was a principal dancer and soloist on Spanish Television’s Entre Amigos, and worked with Shirley Bassey, Latoya Jackson, Donna Summer and Sacha Distel, to name but a few.
A choreographer of Grand Christmas Productions for QDOS Entertainment in many prestigious Theatres in the UK working with celebrities such as Bonnie Langford, Robert Powell, Timothy Healey, Alan Fletcher and Paul Nicholas.
Principal Dancer and Rehearsal Director for Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines, traveling throughout Scandinavia, Mediterranean, Russia and the United States
Rehearsal Director and Choreographer for ‘Sultans of the Dance’ and ‘Flames of Passion’ in Istanbul. Both ran international tours and appeared at London Westend Peacock Theatre.
