Dance has shaped my life and has given me countless invaluable experiences. I aim to share my love of dance with the next generation of dancers.
After training to be a dancer at Lisa Jones School of Dance and The Betty Chappelle Dance Centre, I achieved my teaching qualifications with the IDTA and moved to Leeds to study contemporary dance. After 3 years of performing, I graduated with a first class honours degree in Leeds. I then moved home to Barnsley at 20 years of age and took over Miss Lisa’s dancing school.
I’ve taught dance at Barnsley College and Nova Arts College and have choreographed performances for events such as Yorkshire Dance Festival, FRESH and Can You Dance?
I love teaching at Betty Chappelle Dance Centre, the teachers are wonderful, and the training is amazing! I can’t recommend this school enough.
