Amanda Wills
Amanda is the third daughter of the late Miss Betty Chappelle.
Born into a dancing family she commenced at a very early age of 2 years.
Amanda is a Licentiate Member of the International Dance Teachers Association. She also obtained her IDTA Acrobatic Dance Diploma.
Amanda often demonstrated Acrobatic dance in lectures around the country alongside her mother, syllabus divisor Miss Betty Chappelle.
Her credits include runner up, BBC’s Going Live Entertainer of the year.
Performing in the well-known tv program, Junior Showtime and The Good Old Days, Leeds City Variety. She also appeared dancing and acting in many pantomimes.
Whilst working at The Betty Chappelle Dance Centre Wakefield branch, Amanda owned her own dance school in Featherstone, and freelanced teaching at the Nellie Stagles School of Dance Doncaster. She also introduced dance at Springvale, Cawthorne and Oxspring Primary Schools.
Amanda loves working with children and previously ran her own Young Generation Day Nursery. Amanda loved working at the Phil Winston’s Theatreworks Summer Schools.
She now resides in Penistone with her family and is a part of the faculty at the Penistone branch, Betty Chappelle Dance Centre.
